The Value of Awareness
How much is it worth to know that there are no emergency vehicles around you?
For Blu Eye users, that peace of mind is priceless. And it's not just for one drive, but for every drive from now on. A one time investment that makes every journey more aware, more relaxed and safer.
In the UK, the cost of losing awareness, even for a moment, is real:
- Using a mobile phone whilst driving: £200 fine plus 6 penalty points
- Speeding violations: from £100 plus 3 penalty points
- 12 points in 3 years equals mandatory driving ban (often 6 months or longer)
- New drivers can lose their licence entirely at just 6 points
Many drivers don't speed intentionally. They simply lose awareness for a moment.
Target Blu Eye doesn't prevent fines. It increases your awareness, helping you stay conscious and alert behind the wheel. Over its lifespan, it can pay for itself many times over.
Ask yourself: How much would you pay to get your licence back if you lost it?
Why drivers choose Blu Eye GO

How Blu Eye works (in 3 simple steps)
-
Detect
The system detects the radio signals of nearby emergency vehicles including unmarked police cars, fire engines, and ambulances. Even if they are not using sirens or flashing lights. -
Recognise
Blu Eye GO analyses the strength and pattern of these signals to estimate how close the vehicle is. The display shows you whether they are near or far, so you always know what to expect. -
Alert
Clear on-screen and audio warnings give you extra time to react. You stay calm, anticipate traffic earlier, and move aside safely when it matters most.
Simultaneous detection of up to three emergency services
The display of Blu Eye GO shows up to three emergency services at the same time. Useful when you assume that merging ambulance on the highway triggered your alert, but a quick glance at your display reveals there’s another emergency service nearby. Because being warned is being prepared, three times over.
The patented idea:
In 2009, our engineers discovered how to translate ultra-brief periodic signals associated with emergency-service communications into safe, in-car awareness cues without decoding any content. That breakthrough led to Target Blu Eye, protected by Patent NL2006876C2, and refined into today’s Blu Eye GO.
- Passive operation: No transmission, no content decodin
- Privacy-friendly: Does not identify vehicles, drivers or messages
- Purpose-built awareness first, technology in service of safety
Who it’s for
- Frequent motorway drivers & commuters who value calm, early awareness
- Fleets and shared vehicles where quick, portable installation matters
Legal Position
Target Blu Eye is fully legal in the UK and Europe.
Unlike radar detectors (which are illegal in many regions), our passive technology simply detects the presence of emergency service radio signals, without decoding content, identifying vehicles, or transmitting anything.
It is designed as an awareness tool to help you drive consciously, not as an enforcement avoidance device.

Is Blu Eye a radar detector?
Blu Eye is not a radar detector. A radar detector tries to warn drivers about enforcement equipment, while Blu Eye focuses entirely on driver awareness and safety.
Radar detectors attempt to detect speed-enforcement radar or laser. In the UK this offers limited value, because most enforcement now uses average-speed systems and ANPR, which traditional detectors cannot reliably identify.
Blu Eye works very differently. It passively recognises emergency service TETRA radio activity and provides a simple alert so you can look ahead, prepare and create space for approaching police vehicles (including marked and unmarked units), fire engines and ambulances.
It does not decode messages, jam signals or interact with enforcement equipment in any way, and it is legal to use in Europe.
