Blu Eye GO detects the radio signals of (unmarked) police vehicles, fire engines, and ambulances in your vicinity, even if they are not using sirens or flashing lights. Blu Eye GO warns you in time, so you can anticipate traffic calmly and with better awareness.

Easy to install, ready to use immediately, and suitable for use in multiple vehicles. Perfect for those who need flexibility on the road, such as with a lease car, classic car, or company fleet.

  • Alerts for all Emergency Services vehicles
  • Touch screen lcd display

Why drivers choose Blu Eye GO

  • React sooner — gain crucial seconds to move safely.

  • Stay composed — clear on-screen and audio cues reduce stress.

  • Help others — give emergency vehicles the space they need, sooner.

  • Install in minutes — mount, plug in, drive; swap cars in seconds.

  • Trusted pedigree — on the road since 2009; patented Dutch engineering. View the official patent (NL2006876C2)

How Blu Eye works (in 3 simple steps)

  1. Detect
The system detects the radio signals of nearby emergency vehicles including unmarked police cars, fire engines, and ambulances.  Even if they are not using sirens or flashing lights.

  2. Recognise
Blu Eye GO analyses the strength and pattern of these signals to estimate how close the vehicle is. The display shows you whether they are near or far, so you always know what to expect.

  3. Alert
Clear on-screen and audio warnings give you extra time to react. You stay calm, anticipate traffic earlier, and move aside safely when it matters most.

The patented idea:

In 2009, our engineers discovered how to translate ultra-brief periodic signals associated with emergency-service communications into safe, in-car awareness cues without decoding any content. That breakthrough led to Target Blu Eye, protected by Patent NL2006876C2, and refined into today’s Blu Eye GO.

  • Passive operation:  No transmission, no content decoding

  • Privacy-friendly: Does not identify vehicles, drivers or messages

  • Purpose-built awareness first,  technology in service of safety

Who it’s for

  • Frequent motorway drivers & commuters who value calm, early awareness

  • Fleets and shared vehicles where quick, portable installation matters

IS TARGET BLU EYE LEGAL?

Yes! Blu Eye does not decode or listen to communications. It only detects the presence of signals. That makes it legal in supported countries.

Legal & compliance

  • Blu Eye GO recognises radio waveform activity only and does not decode communications
  • Intended to support situational awareness; always follow the Highway Code

IS BLU EYE A RADAR DETECTOR?

Blu Eye is not a radar detector. A radar detector tries to warn drivers about enforcement equipment, while Blu Eye focuses entirely on driver awareness and safety.

Radar detectors attempt to detect speed-enforcement radar or laser. In the UK this offers limited value, because most enforcement now uses average-speed systems and ANPR, which traditional detectors cannot reliably identify.

Blu Eye works very differently. It passively recognises emergency service TETRA radio activity and provides a simple alert so you can look ahead, prepare and create space for approaching police vehicles (including marked and unmarked units), fire engines and ambulances.

It does not decode messages, jam signals or interact with enforcement equipment in any way, and it is legal to use in Europe.

Check our user feedback:

When @jml930 reached out to us to try the new Blu Eye GO, we were more than happy to supply him an early unit for testing. JM has been using Target Blu Eye for over 7 years across multiple cars, so he knows exactly what real road awareness should feel like.

We have a lot of exciting content coming up with JM, but this first video already says enough. JM is a professional racing driver and someone who understands cars, electronics and high-performance systems at the highest level. This makes his feedback the perfect testament to how effective Blu Eye is in helping drivers stay more aware of what’s happening around them.

For any driver enthusiast who values safety and awareness, Blu Eye GO just speaks for itself.

A few early users already got their hands on the new Blu Eye GO and one of them is BMW legend @its.imty. Known for pushing his cars to the limit (yes… the same G81 that kept up with a Koenigsegg Jesko 👀), he only runs the best gear on his builds.

What he values most? More road awareness. More respect for emergency services. More confidence on the road.

In this video, he shares his first impressions of the TBE GO and how it helps him stay more aware of what’s happening around him.

Step 1. Detecting emergency radio activity

Emergency-service radios regularly “check in” with the Airwave network using ultra-short bursts. Blu Eye passively recognises this radio activity (waveform recognition only) and does not decode any communications.

  • Works with marked and unmarked vehicles
  • Alerts even when no lights or sirens are used
  • Up to three services can be shown at once (model dependent)

Step 2 - Instant, clear alerts

Blu Eye warns you through visual and audio
cues.

  • Visual: LED indicators (rearview mirror) or on-screen display (LCD/GO)
  • Audio: tones that increase with proximity (volume/mute available)

City Mode can reduce sensitivity in dense areas, so you’re warned mainly when services are truly close.

Step 3 — Safer, calmer driving

Extra seconds matter. Blu Eye helps you merge, free up lanes and avoid last-second reactions, supporting both your safety and that of emergency responders and other road users.
